Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a SharePoint Online / Power Platform Developer position that just opened for a remote/telework opportunity. In this role, you will support secure enterprise SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform environments, including development, migration, and application support within a regulated DoD setting. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience). U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Location: Pittsburg, PA – Remote / Telework
Position: SharePoint Online / Power Platform Developer
Contract: 12 months with possibility of extension or going direct
Pay: $62.49/hour
Schedule: First Shift

In this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:

  • Develop custom SharePoint Online solutions and support enterprise environments
  • Migrate legacy SharePoint functionality including InfoPath forms, workflows, and custom solutions
  • Build solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Perform SharePoint content migrations using native and third-party tools such as ShareGate
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Provide application support including maintenance, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Manage releases, deployments, and migrations across multiple environments
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead migration initiatives and support high-visibility projects with complex technical requirements
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Administration, or related field plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
    OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Clearance Requirements:

  • No clearance required
  • Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information if required

Knowledge Skills And Abilities:

  • Experience with SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online (SPO) development
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture including Modern, Classic, and Hub sites
  • Experience migrating legacy SharePoint solutions including InfoPath, SharePoint Designer workflows, and custom scripts
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and PowerShell
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and associated tools such as Node.js, npm, Yeoman, and Visual Studio Code
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integration techniques
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Experience using migration tools such as ShareGate
  • Understanding of governance, permissions, identity management, and access control within SharePoint
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Knowledge of Copilot Studio and Microsoft GCC High environments is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder communication, documentation, and requirements gathering skills
  • Experience managing high-risk, high-visibility projects and delivering solutions on tight timelines
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
