Manufacturing/Production Operator
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Manufacturing / Production Operator position to support their high-technology defense systems manufacturing operations in Scottsdale, AZ. This hands-on role involves assembly, wiring, soldering, and equipment setup to contribute to mission-critical aerospace and defense projects. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with advanced, strategic systems in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Position: Manufacturing / Production Operator
Contract Length: 24 months with opportunity to turn permanent
Pay: $20.58/hour
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; prior experience with hand tools, soldering, wiring, and equipment setup preferred
In this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:
- Perform assembly operations on electronic and mechanical hardware, including modules, boards, and cables
- Execute wiring, component installation, soldering, and harnessing tasks following detailed procedures
- Set up and operate basic manufacturing equipment in accordance with specifications
- Maintain adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards within a controlled manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong manual dexterity and familiarity with hand tools, torque tools, soldering irons, and light industrial equipment
- Basic understanding of measurement tools and calculations; proficiency in basic math
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document processes and collaborate effectively
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and documented procedures precisely
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in aerospace manufacturing techniques
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in collaborative environments and contribute to team success
