Manufacturing Technician
An aerospace client is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations.
Location: Mesa, AZ 85215 (Onsite)
Position: Manufacturing Technician
Pay Rate: $29.35/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 6 months or longer
Schedule: 4/10 (Mon-Thurs) 5 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. schedule, work overtime and some weekends if needed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To support our client’s operations department.
- Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
- Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
- Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• US Citizenship is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 40 lbs.
• “As a responsible party to ATF, obtain coverage under Safe Explosive Act as employee possessor/responsible person upon starting.”
• Able to start work a 4/10 (Mon-Thurs) 5 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. schedule, work overtime and some weekends if needed
Preferred Qualifications:
• Mechanical background
• Experience reading prints
• Experience with Costpoint / MES or like programs
