Advanced Technical Service Associate (Secret Clearance)
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Technical Service Associate position within their high-technology defense systems team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical support for complex electro-mechanical systems, software, and networked environments, ensuring system reliability and performance for mission-critical operations. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and is fully on-site.

Position: Advanced Technical Service Associate
Contract Length: 12–24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $35.77 per hour
Education/Experience: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years of relevant experience
Schedule: First Shift
Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance required (U.S. citizenship required)
In this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:
- Provide advanced technical support for engineers, technicians, and product support teams.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex electro-mechanical equipment, software, and networked systems.
- Support escalation cases where initial troubleshooting has not resolved issues.
- Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to engineering teams.
- Assist with customer installation, training, and technical support activities.
- Provide direct support to customers using highly technical systems and applications.
- Manage technical service activities and ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Security+ or other IAT II certification required.
- Experience with network and IT systems management.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and software administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a Windows environment.
- Experience with failure analysis and root cause reporting.
- Familiarity with tools and systems such as:
- CA Spectrum OneClick
- Oracle CRM
- Microsoft Terminal Server
- HBSS and antivirus systems
- Network monitoring tools
- Asset management software
- Active Directory tools (preferred)
- Experience supporting DoD or DHS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
