Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator – 2nd Shift
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Manufacturing/Production – 2nd shift opportunity. This opportunity is based in Scottsdale, AZ. The role is a contract position lasting 12-24 months with the possibility of going direct. The pay rate is $27.14 per hour. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
In this role, you will use your manufacturing and production skills to:
- Perform moderately complex production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
- Assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables, and integrated hardware systems
- Read and interpret moderately complex schematics, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing activities
- Support fabrication, inspection, rework, refurbishment, and integration of hardware and prototype systems
- Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting activities on assemblies and systems
- Complete production paperwork and accurately enter data into work order management systems
- Utilize measuring tools, test equipment, and manufacturing documentation
- Support production, research, and pre-production manufacturing environments
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to support production goals
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience.

- Experience performing:
- Wiring
- Cable harnessing
- Hand soldering
- Electronic and mechanical assembly operations
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Schematics
- Engineering drawings
- Manufacturing instructions
- Experience supporting:
- Production assembly

- Hardware refurbishment and rework
- Solid knowledge of:
- Measuring and test equipment
- Manufacturing processes
- Basic math skills
- Strong computer, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to accurately complete process documentation and production paperwork
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with J-STD-001 Space Addendum
- Aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing experience
- Experience supporting classified or mission-critical programs
Clearance Requirements:
- Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within the facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
