Required Skills

  • Proven experience with payroll processing in finance, payroll, or expense reimbursement environments
  • Strong understanding of garnishment processing and payroll compliance workflows
  • Knowledge of payroll tax support, employee deductions, and handling time-sensitive transactions
  • Ability to accurately review payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Capable of supporting high-volume payroll operations while managing legal and compliance risks
  • Proficiency with internal payroll, HR, or workforce management systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and deadline adherence
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setting from the Roseville, CA location as required

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in healthcare or large enterprise payroll environments
  • Background supporting contingent, contract, or limited-term workforce payroll needs
  • Familiarity with systems like Workday, LotusOne, or similar workforce management platforms
  • Strong communication skills to effectively articulate payroll issues with managers and teams

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience, ideally within healthcare or large organizations

Other Requirements

  • Must be willing to work hybrid from the Roseville, CA location
  • Demonstrated ability to process payroll items with precision and efficiency
  • Ability to support compliance and regulatory requirements regarding payroll activities
