Construction Project Manager
An electric utility client is looking for a Construction Project Manager who will Manage a portfolio of 20+ interconnection and added facilities projects
Position: Construction Project Manager
Location: Pomona, CA 91768 (Hybrid – onsite days Monday/Tuesday)
Pay Rate: $68.13/hr. on W2
Duration: 18 months or longer
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of 20+ interconnection and added facilities projects.
- This includes ensuring client’s meets its customer commitments on project scope, budget, and schedule.
- The position requires constant interaction and collaboration with both internal client’s staff and external customers.
- These projects involve interconnecting large energy producers to client’s grid and extending client’s grid to serve large industrial loads such as steel manufacturing facilities.
- Managing a portfolio of projects that average $5-6mil each.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Construction project management experience
- Proven ability to communicate clearly (Written and Verbal)
- Ability to efficiently facilitate large construction meetings
- Strong Organizational skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Certification or Equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or better in a related field
